Maryam is interested in Remote Sensing, GIS, geospatial analysis, image processing, and machine learning due to their profound potential to address real-world challenges and improve human life. Her research project focuses on the context-aware accessibility assessment of sidewalks for individuals with mobility impairments. Maryam examines the intricate interplay of dynamic factors, such as crowd density and precipitation, on sidewalk accessibility for wheelchair users.

Through her academic inquiry, Maryam aims to contribute to the development of inclusive urban infrastructures and enhance the quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges.
