BSc candidate
Bachelor of Engineering candidate, Department of Geomatics Sciences, Université Laval
Faël Poirier is a fourth-year undergraduate student in Geomatics Engineering. As part of a team of 3 undergraduates, he is taking part in the IndoorNav project, which aims to develop guidance technologies for people with disabilities in indoor environments. This project relies on the use of beacons to ensure the fine positioning of people in complex buildings such as Université Laval's Pavillon Louis-Jacques Casault.
Through this project, Faël is developing not only technical skills, but also a greater awareness of human issues in geomatics and expertise in project management.
