ABIDI, May

PhD candidate
Doctoral candidate in the Department of Geomatics Sciences, Université Laval
May Abidi is interested in circular economy from a sustainable development perspective. Her research project is specifically dedicated to the valorization chain of organic materials and mainly concerns the optimization of routes for the collection and transport of materials in the territory. Coming from a background as a computer engineer, May uses programming languages to implement a digital twin in which she tests her optimization algorithms. Through this, she also questions the use of digital twins for territorial decision-making and the development of smart territories.
