Doctoral candidate in the Department of Geomatics Sciences, Université Laval

Sanaz Azimi is interested in human-environment interactions, cognitive GIS, Geospatial analysis, and AI, particularly in developing navigation technologies in urban environments. Her research project is specifically dedicated to novel technologies (e.g., eye-tracking glasses) by taking advantage of AI to explore the navigational behavior of people with mobility disabilities to adapt mobility assistive technologies to them, facilitating their navigation and social participation.
