DOODMAN, Saeid

PhD Candidate
Doctoral candidate in the Department of Geomatics Sciences, Université Laval
Saeid is interested in geospatial analysis, 3D city modeling, and incorporating IoT-enabled sensors in the context of smart cities, focusing on the development of GIS-based solutions.
His current research is particularly dedicated to developing a conceptual framework based on OGC standards. This framework includes microclimate simulations, spatiotemporal analysis, and context-aware deployment optimization, aimed at solving the wireless sensor network placement problem contributing to the efforts of energy engineers to improve building energy models.
