Master of Sciences candidate in the Department of Geomatics Sciences, Université Laval

Mehrdad is a geomatics engineer. His expertise lays in artificial intelligence for automatic segmentation in mobile mapping, particularly in the context of LiDAR Mobile technology, high-performance computing tools, topographic and cadastral surveys, as well as data analysis.

Before his master's degree, he worked as a land surveyor at Havabord Co. where he conducted precise topographic surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners. He is deeply passionate about leveraging geomatics science to address real-world challenges and contribute to positive environmental and social outcomes.
